Thomas had a blast at NASA- building, robots, rockets and machines are fascinating to him.

With the age of the NASA shuttle program ending, it was neat to learn about this phase in space technology. Got some good pictures for when I go back to teaching someday. :)

Texas- Moody Gardens

One day of our trip to Texas, we went sightseeing and enjoyed a day at Moody Gardens in Galveston. It was a beautiful park with lots of interesting things to do. A highlight for the kids was watching the Diego and Dora 4D adventure.

Texas- Pool Time!

One of our favorite things about visiting Sean's folks in Texas is access to our own pool right in the backyard! The boys could not get enough of the pool.

Chicago Tour

Before Heather headed back to her boat, the boys took a trip out to Chicago to spend a few days with their awesome auntie. They had so much fun trekking around Chicago and doing lots of fun stuff together. They were so excited to experience the city and go on public transportation- the bus, El and South shore train! It was a trip they will never forget.

Backyard Explorers

The boys have started to explore beyond the boundaries of our fenced in yard. Beyond the back fence, a huge forest beckons to our little explorers and promises adventure and conquest!

Okay, so really it is about twenty feet of woods. But to them, it is a huge forest and a big adventure!

Glimpse of Summer

On a hot day in May, we basked in the heat and enjoyed ice cream treats on the swing set.

School will be out soon, and the lazy days of summer are right around the corner! Aaahh.
