Happy Mother's Day!

Benjamin LOVES baseball. The league he is in requires a lot of parent involvement, which includes standing out in the field with the kids waiting for a ball to come your way. It is hot out there. What a reminder of why I only lasted a year in tball as a kid. Good thing Sean is all about it. Whew.
Benjamin's favorite. Batter up!

Benjamin's game drew a large crowd for his game on Mother's Day. Sean's Mom, aunts, Grandma and brother all came out to watch the game and celebrate Mother's Day with us this year!

Thomas starts Tball!

He loved playing catcher. Half the time he was doing this and the other half he was sitting on the ground filling his glove up with dirt.

Playing the outfield.

Swing batter, swing!

Thomas running home, after he forgot to run and almost got lapped! Tball is hilarious. Thomas absolutely loves it. Whew! And so begins the journey of many, many games to follow.

Easter in Oak Park

Our three guys

The Galiher kids plus one.

Heather just home from Taiwan, as of twelve hours ago.
What a trooper she was to join in the festivities.

Egg hunt! Our boys and Adrienne and Isaiah had a ball enjoying the first sunny day in almost a week! They loved spending the weekend outdoors on the playset, in the sandbox with the new digger, and getting into allsorts of mischief.

Heidi and Paul hosted a wonderful Easter weekend for some of the Mays, some of the Galihers and some of the Ruehles. It was a beautiful weekend (finally), and great to see everyone, too.

It was a cold and rainy egg hunt...

Our church held the annual egg hunt on the coldest, rainiest day of the week. It is hard to tell in the photos, but the weather was terrible. Of course, if there is chocolate and egg hunting involved, the kids don't care! Thomas brought home a record amount of candy for our family this year.

The Whole Crew

Attempting to get a quality picture of two 1 year olds, four 3 year olds, two 5 year olds, and 3 big kids was not an easy task! I think this is the best one though. From left to right:

Eli, Thomas, Micah, Benjamin, Nathan, Isaiah, Adrienne, Gloria, Josh, Anna, and Andrew.

Maxson Family

Paul and Heidi and twins

Joel and Annie and gang

Grandma and Grandpa

So thankful for a whole week together as a family. It is a wonderful gift that we look forward to each year. Thanks Mom and Dad for making it happen!

Turquoise Waters

Our little family soaking up the sun and lots of time together with Daddy.

Tres Amigos.
After an entire week of persuasion, Thomas finally agreed to go swimming in the ocean with Mommy. I think he enjoyed it as much as me in the end!

Benjamin on a sandcastle building mission.

Andrew, our little fish, swam around the baby pool happily for hours at a time!

Our big boy Thomas sporting that smile that melts our hearts.

May Family Trip to Mexico!

We made it to Mexico! The flight there was a bit of a nightmare...long delays while trapped on the plane, an extremely restless and overtired Andrew, and the occasional bystander staring at us like we were crazy. But it was all worth it. Our week in Cancun with family was simply amazing.

Thanks Mom and Dad!

Early morning view from our balcony. The kiddos were up at the crack of dawn everyday and ready to go down to the pool right after breakfast!

Adrienne and Isaiah with the Galiher crew.

We shared a room, and made a great team together!
