Final Farewell

Our little monkeys with Papaw and Grandma

Tailgating at Daddy's baseball game. Go PENN!

Thomas "marching" with Daddy in his Tball opening parade

Mom and Dad Galiher stopped by for the weekend, before making the final drive to Texas. It was wonderful to spend some time with them before they headed on the long journey south. Of course the weekend was mostly filled with baseball events, but I am fairly certain that did not bother them. :) Godspeed! We love you. See you in July...

Six months

All smiles!

Andrew is 6 months today.
He is sitting up with confidence and loving his new outlook on the world around him. His big brothers were so impressed with his latest achievement! They love bringing him toys, putting on puppet shows, and finding creative ways to entertain him. Andrew is our little sweet guy. I absolutely love this age...he is growing up way too fast!

Roadtrip to Virginia

Over spring break, we went on vacation to Virginia with some of the May family- Sarah's parents and sister and family. It was a great time. The kids loved every exhausting moment of every day. They were such troopers, skipping naps and going on long car rides, and doing lots of walking in the blazing heat. We were hoping for warm weather...and we got hot weather. In the 80's and 90's all week! Thanks mom and dad for a wonderful week together.

Riding these bikes down the Virginia Beach boardwalk became much more of a workout then expected. And it was 94 degrees that day!

Visiting Jamestown Settlement

Andrew was such a good baby the day we went to the beach. It was absolutely stifling that day. He kept somewhat cool in his little beach tent, and Grandma kept him company, too. He will be 6 months too soon...our little baby is already sitting up!

Thomas had a ball in the waves! Our last visit to the beach (summer 09), he wouldn't even dip his toes in the water, so this was a huge breakthrough!

Benjamin loved the sand, surf and sun.

One day we went to Busch Gardens, and the kids couldn't get enough. We shutdown the park. Here the cousins are posing with Cookie Monster. Benjamin gave CM the biggest hug...his little eyes were wide open in amazement. Is it really Cookie Monster?

BG has an awesome area for little kids...we highly recommend it.

Field Trip to the Shedd

Wearing the 3D glasses for the Happy Feet movie

The boys and I met Grandma Galiher at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago for a fun day to check out the sharks and fish. We met our all of our little cousins there to add to the fun. Keeping track of 5 little wandering kiddos and 2 babies was a bit hectic...but we made it out alive!

Backyard Picnic

More gorgeous weather. My friend Kim, and her two girls joined us one day this week to enjoy the sunshine. One of Thomas' favorite things to do is have a picnic...so we did. PBJ sandwiches, fruit and pretzels and friends. Does it get any better than that?

Annie and Thomas

(Benjamin is not pictured because he was in Griffith having Grandma time with Sean's mom before she makes the final move to Texas in April. And Andrew is snoozing in the house.)

Chowtime

Time is flying by this spring...the weather has been unusually warm, and we have been enjoying moments outside. The boys have been playing in the sandbox again, and attempting to bust out the water hose too. They love the sand and water! It is so nice for them to be able to burn off some energy outdoors and go exploring. W even made it to the park for the first time since all the snow has melted. More big news is that Andrew has started eating oatmeal from a spoon...this is the earliest I have ever introduced solids with my babies. He did great...we couldn't spoon it in fast enough! Happy 5 months baby Drew!
